LYME DISEASE WARNING
Would appreciate it if you could let residents know, through the website, about the dangers of ticks and Lyme Disease. I am going to post a warning at all the community information boards. Our dog has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, from ticks in Sandy Hook. Dog owners, and in fact, all residents need to be very diligent about looking for ticks on themselves or their dogs. Lyme Disease does not = fun!! We have even been finding ticks in December, so it appears to be a year-round issue.
Vacinations for dogs are available
Review what you might do to reduce the risk of losing your home to an "Interface Forest Fire".
