What is the G8 Sechelt Community Association Forum?
About once per month representatives of the Community Associations in the District of Sechlet gather to compare notes on any problems or issues in their area or in the entire District. The meetings are casual and relatively unstructured to encourage free dialogue. A chairperson is chosen for short terms with the position rotating through the attending representatives.
Through a thoroughly democratic process the Forum may take a stand on current issues or makes recommendations for the community welfare.
